I’ve been travelling the world as a One Man Band since 1980. Over 50 countries and still counting.
If you are interested in where my road has led me, have a look at my detailed biography or look into my photo collection.
As a busker, I`ve gathered a wide range of repertoire, from finger-picked Country Blues on my National Resonator Guitar to my “folky” interpretations of classic songs of the 60`s and 70`s and contemporary pop songs.
Gee Gee style of course, which means always accompanied by simultaneously played instruments like guitar, harmonica, bass drum, snare, hi-hat and vocals.
I travel as a freewheeling musician and when I’m busking I don’t make too many plans but let spontainity and intuition often decide where to play next. But the general outline seems to be that I tour middle and central Europe in spring and fall, Scandinavia in summer and the rest of the world in winter, preferably where there is no winter.
In summer I can be seen with my 1990 born daughter Soluna Samay, who occasionally adds her outstanding bass and vocal skills to my act.
